WIP Images From The A Valley Without Wind Art Revamp

These aren't final yet, but it's been a while since we've shared any images from the art rework project and I wanted to give you a taste of what's coming.  These are coming along well!

Again, bear in mind that none of these are final yet, but it's cool to see how the progress is coming along, no?

Looking fantastic, tempted to put my current game on hold until this is done so I can experience it with the new art

Seems a shame tho, after doing all the existing artwork to do it anew.

Yes, but that's a good example of the sunk costs fallacy. Essentially it doesn't matter what the past efforts or work was -- it's tempting to weight them in decisions, but also a logical fallacy.

All that matters is what makes the most sense to get from where we are at this moment in time to where we want to be in the future. It's been abundantly clear that a lot of people won't take the game seriously without better art.

I've been a fan of your game's wacky art style since the beta. I am also loving the new direction you are taking so go go go from me.

PS: In your next update please get rid of those spiky caltrops that jump when you jump. Grrr. ;-)

Love AI War (already have the new expansion) and AVWW. I've really enjoyed the current art, but I think the new art will be fabulous as well. Shame people still judge the book by its cover, but if an art rework will draw in a larger crowd to this AMAZING game, then I can't wait for it :)

Bought AVWW while in beta, and just bought a 4-pack on steam to share with friends. Love what you guys do and your dedication to your games.

The new art is really fantastic!
I'm one of the "didn't buy avww because of the art style" crowd, and will definitely be one of the "i'm buying it as soon as the new graphic is in" crowd. ;)
