3 out of 4 people reading isn't so bad

I saw this great post, Jim McCarthy is excited that 3 out of 4 people read a book last year, over at the Dystel & Goderich Literary Management blog today. He has a much more positive spin on the much-lamented poll from earlier this year than most other people have. I must say that I wholeheartedly agree with his points -- definitely worth a read if you've been feeling down about those statistics showing that readership is declining.
